Ready for Lower Scores??

As your coach, my job is to guide you and support you as we go on this journey. If you are trying to drop strokes and shoot the scores that you have wanted, you can absolutely do it! I have done this with numerous students and I'll do it with you! When you make a commitment to work with me, I will use my experience to create a customized program for you that includes:

  • game assessment that is based on how you play the game, manage the course and handle outside influences and pressure

  • A plan for realistic goal setting with periodic adjustments during the program

  • The creation of clear concepts and routines that you will apply to your game

  • Purposeful Training sessions to acquire and solidify skills and confidence, measure your progress, and develop the transference of skills you need directly to the course.

  • Accountability for you, the student, to measure specific stats on the course and use that feedback to adjust your training.

  • Continuous evaluation and feedback between the coach and student through on-course coaching sessions.

In the game today, I believe there are two very distinct schools of thought when it comes to creating better golfers...teaching the swing and coaching the player. Most golfers who take instruction have taken part in a traditional teaching model where they are searching for that "perfect swing". You know, the one that is going to lead to unbelievable control in your game. The one that's going to hit more fairways, more greens, hit it closer, make every 10 footer...yes those swings! When you focus so much on the technique of hitting the perfect shot, you can become locked up in thought, you get confused and frustrated when you can't hit it like you did during the lesson, or on the range when you are by yourself. If this is how you feel when you play, you may have lost sight of the real goal of golf - shooting lower scores!

Let's test this theory:

  • Have you ever hit a shot poorly, then dropped another ball and absolutely striped it down the fairway or stuffed it next to the pin?

  • Have you ever played the Front 9 poorly, stopped at the turn for a hot dog & a beer, said the heck with it, and then gone on to play way better on the Back 9?

  • Have you ever missed a short putt for birdie or par that you were grinding on, then dropped another one from the same spot and made it with ease?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you don't have a technique problem, you have a tension problem! Using The Scoring Method is not about fixing a swing that may not be “broken”, but one of creating skills that lead to a permanent change in your game. I will coach you to increase your skills in ball control, course management, and self-awareness to maximize your potential to play your best when it counts!!

There is no time like now to direct your time and resources into coaching more than "quick-fix"  lessons. Your scores will be lower, your self-confidence will be higher, and you will enjoy the game more...I guarantee it!  Now is the time to learn the real game of golf and post lower scores!
